This is a school worth checking out if you want to be trained in ministry to children at risk. I and others involved in the CAR movement will be teaching in it. Looks to be very promising!

For the first time in Central America, University of the Nation’s “Children at Risk School.”
Across the globe and across our mission, God is emphasizing to us the importance of caring for the ‘fatherless’ – a passion very near and dear to His heart. His heart breaks over the needless suffering of His little ones and He is calling His people now to commit to make children our priority.

The Needs
God is calling us
The needs of children are overwhelming – over a billion children live in poverty and millions face abuse, disease and death every day.
Listen as God calls to us:
“seek justice, encourage the oppressed, defend the cause of the fatherless”
Again and again our Heavenly Father is showing us His heart:
“true religion is to look after orphans.” (James 1:27)
“Let the little children come to me, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)
“A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy habitation.” (Psalm 68:5-6) |

| What is our Response?
 To restore all children to the future and hope God intended will require us, the Body of Christ, to work together with a focus on the smallest and weakest – working toward their best interest. We all will have a part to play. Will you come join us and find out what piece God has for you in restoring the hope and future of a child?
Do you feel a call to children at risk, but don’t have three months to commit to a school? Are you already active in the field and could benefit from further training? Are you interested in exploring if this is an area God is calling you to? For these and various reasons, we are breaking this school down into seminar pieces. We want to make this training available so that we can begin to make a significant impact on the lives of hurting children. Completion of a DTS is NOT a requirement to participate in the seminar.
