This is a new book on Understanding God’s Heart for Children. It is based on Viva Network’s 2005 Cutting Edge conference. This book delves into the theological foundation for ministry to children at risk by tracing the biblical narrative from Genesis to Revelation. Practitioners, teachers, and theologians develop seven key themes that provide an overview of a kingdom approach describing our responsibility to, for, and with children—reminding us that children are a key element in the human experience.
Our hope is that it provides some insight into ministry among children who are in difficult circumstances.
