We recently wrapped up missions weeks at ESEPA. What a great week it was with William Taylor of the World Evangelical Alliance. William Taylor was born here in Costa Rica and taught for a number of years at a Seminary in Guatemala as an adult. He is a well known author and speaker so we felt especially honored to have him with us for this week. As part of the lectures and meetings surrounding the week we also invited a number of missionaries from Costa Rica to the event to share with our students about working in missions. Events such as this are key in mobilizing our students into missions. The week’s theme was focused on Suffering, Poverty and Martyrdom in mission work today. Certainly not an easy topic, but one that is very relevant for many Latin American missionaries working in difficult fields.
